Azure Latch Barou Guide: Stealth Shot, Moveset & King Path
King of the Field
Barou Shoei is a Mythic (1.7%) striker built on selfish power finishing — and a required grind for Mastery Don Lorenzo’s “Barou’s Crown” chapter, which keeps his search interest permanently warm.
Moveset (Official Values)
- {T} Chop Feint — feint using Long Shot as bait; usable during Long Shot and King’s Path animations. 25s (Chop Feint) / 25s (Chop Dribble) / 0s on Long Shot with 0.2s endlag.
- [1] Chop Dribble — on-ball, iFrames, ankle-breaks, 25s. Landing it on an opponent resets the cooldown once (Nagi-style), then it cools normally.
- [2] Long Shot — aimable from anywhere, iFrames, 15s — one of the fastest-cycling shots in the game. Cancellable with T; usable during King’s Path.
- [2] Stealth Shot (variant) — fires when an opposing player stands directly in front of you: a slightly stronger Long Shot, telegraphed to you by a red screen-border tint when conditions are met. Teammates don’t trigger it.
- King’s Path / DEVOUR / Predator’s Eye — the flow layer; DEVOUR’s auto-goal and Predator’s Eye steals are both quest checkpoints.
The Stealth Shot Game
Stealth Shot rewards playing through defenders rather than around them: put a body between you and goal, watch for the red tint, fire. Defenders who know the mechanic will sidestep your line — which opens the Chop Feint mind-game: bait the sidestep with a fake Long Shot, then Chop Dribble past on the reset window.
Chemical Reaction
“It’s Feeding Time.” with a Mastery Don Lorenzo teammate — Barou finishes with Long Shot near the penalty area after Lorenzo’s Undead Crash feed (setup details).
Verdict
B-tier in ranked (predictable once scouted — tier list), A-tier in pubs, and mandatory anyway if Mastery Lorenzo is on your roadmap.
