Azure Latch Gamemodes: 6v6, 11v11, Ranked, Legacy & More

Match Basics

Every match runs 6 minutes with a 30-second intermission (25 if you just joined) to pick your team, style and MVP animation. Tied at 0:00 goes to overtime — sudden death, first goal wins, and some styles get unique overtime awakenings.

The Modes

Tutorial & Beginner — the tutorial teaches movement and shooting, then routes you into beginner servers until your stats cross a threshold. Use them: veterans can’t stomp you there while you learn (beginner guide).

Main Game — the standard 5v5 battleground experience on public servers.

6v6 / 11v11 — bigger-team variants. 11v11 turns positioning and passing into the whole game; solo-carry styles fall off and support kits like Kurona shine (styles list).

Ranked — the competitive ladder. Entry requires 500 goals or 250 saves on your account. Full breakdown in the ranked guide.

Legacy — the old Azure Latch: outdated mechanics and pre-rework characters preserved as a museum mode. Fun for seeing how far the game has come; nothing here matters competitively.

Jolly (event) — the seasonal mode that pays Candy Canes, convertible into Style Coins or spent on the Event Pass. Returns during winter events.

Modifiers — rotating rule-twist servers listed on the official Trello.

Which Mode to Grind

Codes and quests progress everywhere public (quest rules — NEL Isagi requires public servers), cash rates are identical across modes (economy guide), so grind wherever your style performs: strikers in Main Game, defenders and keepers toward the 250-save Ranked gate.
